The
annual Surface Chemistry and Catalysis group conference in 2006 attracted
110 delegates, with a several vistors from overseas. The meeting took
place in the Julian Hodge resource centre of Cardiff University and provided
a stimulating and very enjoyable three days of fascinating science.
The conference dinner was held in Cardiff castle where delegates were
treated to traditional welsh food (including laverbread and cawl) and
entertained with welsh music, singing and dancing (including Myfanwy and
Delila!)
